In my personal life, I find myself using text messages way more than calling. Texting is a great source to have when you need to find something out as soon as possible. Sometimes, you can’t always make time for a phone call. Texting can be more convenient than calling.
Texting has many benefits. You can receive and send messages within seconds. It’s a very convenient tool to have on hand with you at all times. If there’s an important message you need to get out fast, you don’t want to have to wait for someone to answer a call. You want to be able to say whatever you need to at the moment. Being able to just send a text makes it so much easier. Texting can also help you save time. You know eventually the other person will see it and respond. It’s also good when you just have something simple to say. Going out of your way to call someone when it’s just a small question can be annoying. Having the option to just send a text instead of waiting for someone to answer a call, or having to leave a message, is just easier. These are just some ways that prove texting can be a way more convenient option.
Calling can take up some time. Say you are at work or school, you won’t have time to make a phone call. Having texting available to you can help a lot in those situations. Also, the person you are trying to contact, might not be able to answer. Calling can make messages and questions you need to send, take longer for the other person to receive. Calling can take up a good amount of time, texting is a safer and more convenient option because you know they will end up getting the message.
Texting is easy because mostly everyone has a phone, and is able to send and receive texts. Calling can be difficult in some situations, like not being in the appropriate place to make a call. Texting is a lot more convenient than calling.
