Introducing JMartineau26

Jmartineau26 is a senior at Oak hill high school, his avatar can be confusing as it’s more complicated. I believe the best part about his avatar is that it’s complex and has an unnoticeable meaning to it. Jmartineau26´s avatar consists of a moving ball going through soundwave lines, this caught my attention with the colors and cool design that had a great meaning to it.

At first, I figured that Jmartineau26’s avatar was multiple different things with one meaning behind it. But after talking with him I realized there was more meaning to the avatar. My prediction wasn’t entirely correct but I feel like I understood what he was trying to get across. He told me ¨The design and colors are very cool¨ . He also told me ¨The ball is like me fighting through adversity¨ He also said to me ¨The lines represent him pursuing in life¨ This made the design make more sense, he explained how he picked something that relates to his personal life and was very meaningful to him.

When I asked him more about it, he kept it very short and simple because that’s what it was. He explained how it was his favorite album cover because of the band itself, and the design behind it. I thought this was a great choice because he seemed to really care about this and it explains him well. Instead of creating something of his own he chose something he already loved and found meaning to it and I think that’s very cool.

Something that I wasn’t expecting to know about Jmartineau26´s avatar was how he cared for it and seemed attached to an album cover that I barely knew. I think this is very cool because it shows how he creates symbolism from something like an album cover and found parts in the image that represent his personality. My avatar might be different then his but they both symbolize who we are as people and our goals in life. After learning more about his avatar, I think I know Jmartineau26 better than I did before, and I believe he chose a great image to symbolize the parts of who he is.
