CGammon26 has a unique avatar that describes important pieces in his life. He has the design base as the American flag entirely because he was born and raised in America. Where the stars would be located on the flag, he has music notes that resemble music because that’s what he does in his free time. For the rest of the flag, where the stripes would be located, he has the background green and money symbols placed over top to show that he likes the color green. Not only does he like the color green but he also stated that he likes to make money, rather than just having it.
Overall the flag he designed is entirely simple but still holds value with the meanings behind each piece involved. One piece that grabbed my attention the most was the music notes. This is because I was curious on what type of music he likes and enjoys. To my surprise his music taste is decent, and has a wide variety of the type of music he enjoys. He stated that he listens to all sorts of music but preferably listens to hip hop, rock, metal, and some country. He added the music notes as a simple design because of the variety of music he likes. Music is relaxing to him and is one of the things he most enjoys.
To design my logo, I thought about the things I enjoy and took a step out of the box when thinking of my logo/designs I wanted to add. He also thought of the things he enjoyed but kept it simple with the logo. But, he made the overall logo slightly more complicated, but also shows more about the meanings of his designs within it.
CGammon26 stated that the music note design in his logo really showed a big part in his logo. This is because the amount of music notes added in the corner shows his variety of music with each note. Although the notes all look the same, each one is a different genre of music he listens to. The money design also stood out to me, so I asked if he preferred making money or just having it in general. CGammon26 says that he prefers making it rather than having it because it can give off a sense of accomplishment and freedom in a way.
