Skys the Limit

BDubuc26 is a senior at Oak Hill High School. When looking at his avatar you might not expect such a deep meaning behind it. His avatar contains a full bright yellow background, similar to the sun. In the top left corner you will see a brown that fills a quarter of the image. In the middle of that brown square there is a star. That star is a similar color to the grass on a field. Its a simple, yet bold design that I would net expect from him.

The yellow to me seems to represent summer or the sun. It gives off a warm welcoming feeling while also being bold. The green color in this image seems to represent nature which could make sense for this person, possibly a sports field of some sorts. But I was happy to find out it was for our late friend Iggy where he explained ¨His color is green and he means a lot to me.¨ The brown in this image represents a football, which would make sense since I know this person plays the sport. When talking in the interview, I asked if football was his favorite sport. He responded with ¨Football is my favorite sport to play but I like baseball more sometimes because at it.¨

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I wasn’t too far off from the real meaning of his avatar. He used the color yellow to show a fire and happiness and that he associates it with good times hanging out with his buddies. When looking at his avatar, I wondered why he added a star. He mentioned that I represented the sky saying ¨The sky looks cool sometimes, Its intriguing to wonder whats going on up there.¨

I´m surprised that he that football is his favorite sport to play when I thought it would be baseball. Another unforeseen thing is that he used the color yellow for fire, and associates it with hanging out with his friends. I asked him why yellow when representing happiness and friends and he replied with ¨”If you think about it , on the other side of the color wheel is purple and its a gloomy color and yellow seems happy. Its has its own vibe.¨ Something that was similar was that he definitely went more simple with his design where as I went more complex. But something similar is that we both had green in our design. Another thing is that we both had something to do with nature.

I´m glad to learn a little bit more about this person.
