The Pondering Explorer

In Crucker’s flag he designed for his Utmost Trouble account. His flag is a cog shaped globe with blue colored in the globe part and light blue as the outer cog part. And then there is a swish going around the globe with the speed bird symbol at the end of it.

At first I guessed that the globe symbolized his liking for traveling or to do with the history of the world. I also thought the cog represented his ingenuity or creativeness. I thought the swish in the middle was a Nike symbol going around the globe.

I thought I had his flag figured out fully, but I was only halfway right.

  • Light blue – when I asked about what the light blue represented Crucker said it represented winter because “its a nice cool color that relates to winter” which I originally thought represented the ocean.
  • Blue – Crucker said blue was only chose because “people think of ice as a range of blue” which I don’t fully understand but I get how it relates to ice.
  • Cog – I asked Crucker why he chose a cog for the shape of the symbol in his flag and he said “most stuff was analog back then instead of digital” and then went on to explain how the cog relates to old technology.
  • Globe – the globe represents his love for travel which he says “if I had the chance to when I’m out of high school I would love to travel all over the world” hopefully Cruckers dreams can come true.
  • Speed Bird – I didn’t know what the speed bird was until Crucker told me he says its his favorite symbol because “old airline companies use the speed bird symbol a lot” which Crucker really likes planes.

That wraps up what Cruckers flag was. I think chases flags visual appeal was very good a fairly simple design with a nice design I rate his flag a 9/10.
