While I've been at Oak Hill for the past 4 years there are many things that I have enjoyed here and things I haven't. Here is a list of the things that have made my high school experience worth it and things that didn't.

When everything is silent in class and your best friend decides to make a joke towards you, it doesn't matter how serious you are or can be you're going to laugh just because of how silent it can be sometimes.

Laughing when you probably shouldn't or when it might not be acceptable to laugh can help you to get over something.

The consequences of things can be tracked back to the quality of something you buy.

When it comes to asking weird or stupid questions, I'm the one who is always doing it. Since I do it so often, it's hard to remember a specific time when I did ask a "stupid question". But I do remember a day when I wanted to ask a question so badly but I was afraid of hurting someone's feelings.

Too embarrassed to ask a question.

High school does not define who you are, there is more to life.

  Throughout the past 18 years of my lifetime I’ve learned so much about myself and how much I've grown to learn to just accept myself for who I really am. At a young age I didn’t really  have to worry too much about life and how to try and make everything perfect to keep others happy. But I would have to say when I started middle school that's when everything changed for me. I would always strive so hard to look and act a certain way to be like my role models or peers, but sooner or later I learned that it wasn’t the best idea for me to be doing for myself.

  A time I was afraid to ask a foolish question would be anytime it had to be anything that had to do with my car. There are multiples times where I was afraid to ask a question about my car because since I have had my license for almost two years I should know by now about some of these simple questions about my car.
