Delicious Garlicky Dinner Recipe

What you’ll need for Garlic Pasta

  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 3 cups of chicken broth, with a little extra to spare( use the lower sodium because it can be a little too salty with the cheese)
  • ½ pound spaghetti
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 tbsp dried parsley

To start off the pasta you’ll need to get a big pot over low/medium heat. Add the oil and garlic letting them brown lightly, once they start browning add the butter stirring constantly. Once the butter is melted add the three cups of broth and bring it to a boil. ( adding salt and pepper is all about preference)  Once it’s boiling add the pasta and cook according to directions. You can add more broth if the noodles start burn or sticking to the pan. Once the noodles are cooking you can add the Parmesan cheese and the heavy cream stirring together until it’s smooth with no cheese clumps. Then you can add the final touches of parsley for color and a little extra taste.

What you’ll need for Steak

  • Garlic minced
  • Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • Good piece of Meat

In a medium sized sauce pan, saute garlic in butter until slightly brown. Meanwhile, you can season your steak with montreal seasoning on both side. Once the garlic is browning you can add the steak to the pan. Cooking it to your tastes. Be patient, flipping the steak too often can result in a bad tasting steak.

What you’ll need for Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  • potatoes
  • boiling water
  • garlic sauteed in butter
  • milk
  • sour cream
  • parsley

For the mashed potatoes you’ll need to start off cutting potatoes in half to fit in your pot, depending on how many you are feeding will depend on how many potatoes you need. Then you’ll fill the pot with water, covering the potatoes, and bring to a boil. Now, you’ll have to watch them because you’ll be checking if they’re done by poking them with a fork. The easier the poke, the more done they are. Once the potatoes are on the verge of almost mush. You’ll drain the potatoes. In another small pan you’ll take some butter and minced garlic and brown them slightly for the flavor. Then you’ll add the butter garlic mixture to the potatoes and start mashing, it’ll be kinda dry and depending on how dry you’ll want to add a little bit of milk and a smidge of sour cream to make the potatoes more creamy. Once done mashing, you can add the parsley for color and slight flavoring.

All in all it’s a health easy recipe that any family would love. It’s cheap and quite simple. My family loves it, but then again we love garlic! The garlic noodles can be very garlicky tasting or not very much at all it depends on how much garlic you want, it’s honestly a nice side dish to any meal The steak came out well, medium well, so it’s pink in the middle but warm/hot very well seasoned, no need for steak sauce. The mashed potatoes are always a nice touch, tying the meal together with a nice old timey family touch of the never fading mashed potato. All in all, I recommend this recipe to any family looking for some new food to love.
