Hopeful Future For Sewing

From the time I started, I have learned a lot during my time of sewing. I enjoyed having that connection with my grandmother and having her teach me what she knows. I have learned how to have a connection with someone through something they love. I learned how to sew from seams to making my own purse. I can now fix holes in my clothes instead of just tossing them which is helping me save money. I also showed my best friend how to sew and she likes it too which honestly makes me really happy. She started sewing with me at a young age but we don’t take anymore. I enjoyed going to the craft shows and fairs with my grandmother because I saw so many different things there from different cultures. I know how to communicate with people and I have even learned sales throughout all of my sewing days. I miss sewing with a passion but there are more important things to do in life right now. I’m glad I introduced sewing to a different individual and invited them to try an interest of mine. She moved on from sewing for she has a family of her own now and has no time for it much like me. I hope to soon start sewing again in the future and to take back my interest when I go to college in Florida. I’ll be closer to my grandmother so I can visit her and start sewing again. Maybe we can have a better connection now that I am older.
