Regrets

To me a friend in need is a friend indeed. The reason is because true friend always helps one another out. I can relate to this because me and my best friend Josh always help each other out when we can.

Right now Josh is in South Carolina doing boot camp and we can’t really help each other out as much as we would like. But I haven’t really been the best of friends lately because I haven’t written a letter to him yet because I have been dealing with a lot of stress right now. With school and work and getting my drivers license I just really haven’t had the time to do it yet and I feel bad.

Although I feel bad about not writing him a letter yet I think he understands because he was a high school senior just last year. So I hope he won’t be mad at me when he gets back once I explain why it has taken me so long to get a hold of him.

I know that if he was here right now he would help me no matter what it took because that is just what we do for each other because we are best friends. I actually got him a job working with me at McDonald’s for a couple of months before he left because he had no money and needed it bad. I tried to help him as much as I could with money but at the same time I had responsibilities to.

One time when a friend helped me out was when my friend Josh helped me out with my English homework during my junior year of high school. It was the end of the semester and I was at his house and I had a lot of work to do so we banded together to get it all done. I had three essays and 5 Membean quizzes to do and I was so stressed out that I wanted to puke. But he helped me stay calm and cool throughout the whole process I stayed there for two days getting work done until finally it was all done. An entire weekend with my best friend wasted on doing homework but no matter how many times I said I felt bad for making him help me so much he said he still had fun. That is just how he is though he was always willing to help somebody out even with the most boring tasks ever and would make the most out of even the worst situation.
