Family Is Forever

My family has few traditions we do every year. One of my favorite traditions we do every year is when we go up north to my grandparents camp. Another tradition my family does is every year during April break is we go down to Florida for a week. Every Christmas my grandparents and my uncle come over to my house to celebrate Christmas. 
Probably my favorite tradition we do every year is when we go up north to my grandparents camp. It is about a 3 and a half hour drive up north near Calais. It is located on a lake in the middle of the woods abut 10 miles down a logging road. Most of my cousins and family on my moms side goes too. One of my favorite things about going there is when we have our fishing tournament. We started it about 2 years ago, every year my uncle Wally puts up 20 dollars on the wall and who ever catches the longest bass wins the 20 dollars. Some thing that we do every year is cook over the fire my grandpa cook a big breakfast over the fire. Usually every night we go out fishing for white perch to eat, by the end of the week we usually have a big fish fry. If we have enough fish we go ask the neighbors if they want to come over and have some fish. It is probably my favorite family tradition that we do every year because it is a time when we can see my family.
Every April break we go to Florida. We usually go to different places in Florida like Disney, Clearwater or Cocoa Beach. My favorite time going to Florida was when we went for the first time. Its was my favorite time because we went to Disney. I was in 8th grade at the time so I liked a lot of the things there. It also shocked me how warm it is down there. The weather was amazing when we went there was very little rain and and it was in the 90s most of the week. I was able to go on most of the rides which was pretty fun. We went to the different parks in Disney. My favorite park to go to was the Magic Kingdom because of the rides there. My favorite ride there was Space Mountain. It was mt favorite because there are a lot of drops and sharp turns, it is also pitch black. It wasn't just the rides that made it great it was also because I was with my family. 
Every year my grandparents and my uncle on my dads side come over to my house at around 11 am and we eat lunch. We usually have Ham, Potatoes and Salad. Then we sit in the living room and open presents. After that we usually watch T.V. or a movie. Then we eat supper and and talk. Then at the end of the day they leave to go back home.
