Call or text

I prefer texting then calling because it’s more private and easier. If you call your parents about something very important and you don’t want anyone to hear what you’re saying and if there are others around you while you’re on the call they could hear your conversation that’s a reason why i don’t like calling. Also calling can be very disturbing. Texting is more private and no one will know what you’re talking about unless you show them your phone. It’s a good way to say what you want to say privately, if you don’t want anyone to know what you’re talking about text instead of calling. Also if one of my coworkers at my work wants to contact me they either ask me a question on text instead of calling me but if it’s something important and they need to know it right away they will call me. Like for instance they call me most of the time to see if i can cover a shift on my day off or tell me information about a situation. But if it’s for me to come in sooner they will text me. I prefer texting then calling unless if it’s someone i’m comfortable with then i’ll call and talk to them. But texting is easier because if you’re busy you can answer them on your own time but if you call someone or they call you, you have to have time to call them and talk to them on the phone. Calling is easier if you need to explain something to someone and you can’t text all of it. And texting is easier if you need to ask questions and tell someone something privately. The pros of texting are it’s easy to use, you read them and respond, messaging is faster than making phone calls, it takes a longer time if you call and shorter time if you text. You can multitask, you can text someone while you’re talking to someone on the phone. Calling takes a longer time. For instance if you’re busy and you can’t call that person right away or at all but you text them instead because it’s a lot quicker and easier and you have time to send a 10 second message to someone. If you’re really busy and doing errands it’s easier to send a text then to call them. If you’re shopping and you don’t know where your family is calling could be a better idea then texting them because they might not answer right away but if you were to call then it would be easier in that situation. But there’s a lot of disadvantages of texting. You can misunderstand things, you can get distracted when you text while you’re driving, it can be addictive. It can be a distraction to others and it’s very dangerous when texting and driving. Calling or face timing is the better way when you want to talk to someone while driving. It has been shown that it dangerous to road users. And people have gotten into crashes because they text and drive.
