Happy times

Throughout my 18 years of existence, there have been many accounts of laughter within. Although laughter is very common there is one example that stands out from the rest. it was February of 2022, My father and I had got invited to go on a snowmobile trip in Greenville Maine by an Androscoggin sherrif that my dad had been friends with for more than 20 years. We had all loaded up the snowmobiles and drove to the chalet. When we got there we met up with the sherrif’s son and nephew. A key part to the story is that the nephew rode a different brand of snowmobile than the rest of us, and was talking smack about our brand. Throughout the night the nephew had been talking about all the reasons why his snowmobile was the best “My sled is more reliable and handles better’ said the nephew The first day riding we all had a blast we made it really far but it was a warm day and the snow was melting and forming ice. The nephew’s sled ended up burning up and we had to tow it out of the trail back to the chalet. At this point, we were all laughing and making fun of the nephew. We had finished the day at a restaurant talking smack, and when we had returned we fixed his snowmobile and got ready for the next day.

The real story of laughter starts here on the second day, it was extremely cold compared to the first day and all the melting snow had turned straight to ice. This wasn’t a big deal for everyone except the nephew because we all had studded tracks for ice and the nephew did not. As a result of the icy trails the snowmobiles didn’t have adequate cooling as they require the snow that kicks up to cool them off, so the nephew who didn’t have studs to kick up ice was trying to power side every corner to kick up ice. coming around a wide open corner the nephew slide his snowmobile and then proceeded to catch a snow patch, he was ejected from the snowmobile as it rolled down the trail. He was completely unscathed which is why this story is funny. Keep in mind the nephew was talking smack about how his snowmobile is superior to ours in handling. This story is extremely funny to all parties involved to this day because we don’t have to remember exactly what happened because the nephew was recording and caught it all on 4k…
