Thydes avatar was confusing and complex and left a lot to think of in my mind. Great nonetheless. With using the blue background to show his love for everything blue in nature and a emphasis on his love for the ocean and sky. What had caught my eye was all the obscure shapes he had going on.
How Thyde went about it was sort of a collage of his favorite things he liked into one singular flag. Which was also his intent as he wanted to show his favorite things as to express himself. While I did it with my favorite things he did it through almost solely color and shape while I did it through symbols like a bag of money or a board.

Some quotes I have from him explaining his reasoning behind what he liked. This was his explanation on why he chose a blue background. “I like the water, the sky looks pretty”(Hyde) his explanation on his choice for the triangles that represented dragon wings are “I re watched how to train your dragon and wanted to include it.”(Hyde) the rhombus he had was a sort of gate or portal for the dragon itself to come out from. “to make the dragon come out of the book”(Hyde). while at first I thought it made no sense.
The more I learned about him was more I learned about the flag as if I learned more of him. showing he poured his all in the flag to pour his own emotion and love for things into symbol/flag. which made me quite happy to see the expression going on. I was happy to learn more about him through his flag in a indirect way yet so direct at the same time.
I feel I could really see his thought process which sort of made it even better rather than just staring at some strangers drawing and not knowing anything I got to learn him not about him but him.
