The Dangers of Social Media

Social media is used by alot of people now a days since we have upgraded technology enough to where it is easy to access for everyone. Now a days social media has many diffrent benefits that can have affects on peoples lives but it also can have draw backs and negative affects on peoples lives like doxxing, scamming, and many more draw backs.

A good example of the benefits you can get on social media is that you have easier access to connecting with others with similar interests to you. Another benefit is that you can also create diffrent things and post them on the internet to help find people with similar interests and make friends and to find people who would buy your products or go to your store). Social media can also benefit you by helping create a good digital foot print for your self, this can help you find a job or even find a collage. Another benefit social media has is that you are more able to find references to help you create diffrent things. Social media has a lot of benefits that can affect your life in a positive way but social media has draw backs that can affect your life in a negative way.

An example of some draw backs that social media has is that you can get scammed online especially now a days because of AI generation being extremely good at deceiving people that are vulnerable. Another draw back is that social media can affect peoples mental health by people posting about how people should look, dress, and act a certain way. Another draw back is that social media makes it easier for predators to try and pray on other people which could lead to extremely awful things happening. Another draw back is that people can get doxxed on the internet which could lead to people going to the doxxed persons house and possibly destroying their property or even worse stuff. These draw backs show how dangerous social media can be.

Social media has its benefits and draw backs but i feel that social media has more draw backs than benefits due to how a lot of the draw backs can cause lots of harm to people. But this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have social media, you should just be extremely cautious about it and not let people fool you. So in conclusion social media has a lot of benefits but they also have draw backs that you should be cautious about.
