Never Give Into PEAR Pressure

The true most valuable player of the fruit category, the ability to be crunchy yet sweet and soft on the inside, and the health benefits to make your body tingle, the pear does it all. While varying in shapes and sizes the pear very seldomly changes its ability to make an individual happy. Its eccentric shape has the average human on their toes to what shape one might be when they pick it out of a bag. This fruit really does it all. It is incredibly healthy for us and has a history worth sharing. The pear really is one of the greatest fruits and is a privilege to enjoy on a daily basis.

Descending from Europe like many of its other brethren fruits, it is has been a common treat for centuries. American’s have enjoyed the pear since the 1600’s when colonists began to bring various types of pears over to the U.S. Their buttery texture, crunchy outside, and soft but juicy inside attracted many people to the pear throughout history. This has made the pear one of the most loved fruits all over Europe and the U.S. Pears are said to have been originated in ancient Greece used as remedies for many illnesses.

The nutrition of a pear is outstanding. They are high in vitamin b-12 and are rich in antioxidants like many other fruits. Pears usually range in calorie level but an average pear has around 100 calories. This makes it a great snack for the middle of a long work day. Their refreshing juice on the inside makes the taste buds tingle. The pear is outstanding and without the pear, the world we live in today would not be the same.
