To Trust or not to Trust

Brandon is 15 years old going into his first day at high school, hes a freshman, his friends are starting turn against him when his friends Bailey and Darren and Kyle find out that there are better friends than Brandon in the school.  Brandon gives out his secret on liking the girl named Taylor Wood, he told his best friends, Brandon later finds out that this is a huge mistake.   One day at school Brandon and his friends Darren, Bailey, Kyle where sitting in the halls talking, Brandon has a crush and isn’t sure if he should tell his friends.

When Brandon was younger in the  ninth grade, he had his best friends named Bailey, and Darren walk into the first day of their high  school career, Brandon got a glimpse of this hot girl named Taylor Wood. We all look at each other and say ¨Wow shes hot¨. On the same day, Brandon told him who he was crushing on. He had the same crush and that became a predicament. We kind of separated a little bit at a time, and were no longer best friends and we went from seeing each other everyday to just a passing in the school hallways. He saw me and my crush talking by my locker one day at the end of school. He was leaving the school and texted her later that night. His friend Darren betrayed him and told his crush all these rumors about Brandon that wasn’t true. The next day at school Taylor woods told the whole school and the rumors came about, Brandon was so embarrassed that he ran out of the school to his car and drove off before people could make anymore fun of him, later that day Brandon found out that it was Darren that leaked the information to Taylor. Brandon was so mad that he sneaked revenge. Brandon was more upset that my best friend betrayed  me like that .Brandon knew it took confidence to let that information out and know Brandon realizes  that hes not a true friend hes a fake friend.  The lesson Brandon learned that day was not to always open up about your feelings to your friends trust your family first and let the rest come to you.

After realizing how trusting someone with your secrets might not be the best idea, especially because your own best friend can abuse your trust. The lesson that you hopefully learned from Brandon opening up to his best friend is that, in high school its always about being popular and if your not popular than you dont fit in and everyone is willing to do what they need to do to fit in and not get made fun of.  The lesson that my mistake taught me was to make sure what ever you are letting come out of your mouth anyone can find out about. In addition to that, just be cautious as to who you trust and tell your secrets to.
