Wonderful Oak Hill

High School…
The google definition of high school is: “A school that typically comprises grades 9 through 12, attended after primary school or middle school.” or according to Urban Dictionary high school is “All of the world’s horrors, all the things and people you despise and dread most, compacted into one building”. Anyway…. Many of you know me, but incase you don’t my name is Sadie Pinard, a high school senior just trying to graduate like the rest of you. I will respond to Sadie, Sade, Sades, Saders, etc. I would really like to get this over with (high school and this speech) so here we go. Here are a few things I have learned through my Oak Hill high school experience.
Mr. Mccarthy will never actually retire.
The roof getting worked on is actually a myth and will go on forever.
You’ll never find out what the large, dark, stains on the hallway carpets are…and you probably don’t want to know.
If you want an actual parking spot you need to be at school at about 6:00 am
No matter how many times you are late you will probably never get a detention.
Mr. Wright is the best detention teacher ever.
Carney will never stop clapping, he will also probably be here forever… He taught my mom…
The hallways will never not have an unknown, usually disgusting, smell.
You HAVE to be at school for advisory, as said by Mrs. Guimond.
There is no dress code…
Oak Hill has been fun, I have appreciated my experience here, but I am very excited for it to be over, like really really excited…. I thank all of you for your existence and your places in my life, negative and positive. I would also like to thank Elizabeth for the comfort in knowing someone was always there for me no matter what creepy part of the school I had to walk in. The end… can’t wait for about 7:00 on June 5th! 🙂
