I attended a competition in cape cod this past summer. It was a long and exhausting week. I pushed myself a lot and because of this I did not get much sleep. One night at the end of the week, I was practicing in a exercise room downstairs. My practice did go very well, and it was a good time with my dance friends. When I was done I made my way upstairs and had dinner with the rest of my team. I was so tired, I had been training all week to go for a title and doing interviews, taking classes as well as performing in front of many people every day. I had ordered my food then went to go to the bathroom only to notice that I had broke one of my favorite belly button rings.

I went back to the table and told my dance friends. I tried really hard to keep it together. I didn’t even mean to cry. it just happened. As I made my way back to the table, I began to tear up and eventually come to a full cry. I was so emotionally over nothing. when they all began to laugh at me for crying about my belly button ring, I bawled more. I then got up and left. without any reference given to them as to where I was going to be, I went back downstairs to look for it. I had absolutely no hope of finding it but I thought I would try cause I loved it so much.

Finally after about 10 minutes I finally found the other half of my belly ring. I started to cry again because of how happy I was. I got myself together and continued to have a successful and fun week. Being so upset over a belly button ring was not really what I had planned nor did I ever think it would make me so upset.
