Patience Is a Virtue

The definition of patience is “the ability to wait, or to continue doing something despite difficulties, or to suffer without complaining or becoming annoyed”. an example of this like waiting your turn in a line that seems almost infinite.

An experience where I had to be patience was when I went to Florida and had to wait in the line to get my bags scanned. Imagine a labyrinth full of people all waiting to go the same place where you can see everyone waiting, and each time someone finally got let through it took about two minutes each person. As the line moved on slowly I passed the time by observing what was happening around me, I could hear a baby crying somewhere in the crowd, and the security asking people for their ID and passports. When me and my grandma made it through, we got to the actual airport. The airport felt like a massive hallway of escalators where we patiently waited on as we traveled across it. On my way to the flight I stopped at gift shops, resturaunts, and so much more. When I made it to the plane and crammed onto the plane bumping into people as me and my grandma kept moving. The flight was starting to take off I had someone hitting the back of my seat, nearby a baby was crying this time because of the pressure in their ears from rising in the plane. Not to mention the pilot yapping over the intercom with his raspy voice about the succesful take off and where we are heading. Later on when we things calmed down I thought it must’ve been halfway through the flight I checked my phone to see it had only been thirty minutes. I decided to watch a movie that was at least two and a half hours longs to pass the time knowing the flight would end. Later that day when I arrived in Delaware, we repeated the same process just to get on another plane ride this one being eight hours long. During the flight, I decided using my time sleeping since. It was already eight at night, I slept for the entire flight. The day I arrived I finally got to rest from all the flights and walks. The wait was one-hundred percent worth it we got to go to Disney and Orlando. The weather was always nice to it was never cold, heck you could go swimming every night there.

I personally think all the waiting I had to was worth it. Being patient is playing the long game, but in the end it is always worth it. Do you think patience is worth your time? Because I certainly do.
