Paw Print

DOdonnell’s avatar shows a paw print in the center of the canvas. There is a singular paw colored black with a soft, blue background. The paw has four toes and takes up about 70% of the canvas.

DOdonnell is representing one of his pets within his avatar. DOdonnell owns a dog,  which he explains as his “favorite thing”. DOdonnell has a close relationship with his dog and loves animals. DOdonell has had this dog for years, he has become a staple for the DOdonnell family. This is why he chose the prominent black color of the paw, to emphasize HIS dogs (who he loves dearly) paw.

DOdonnell’s avatar is also symbolizing an occupation he wishes to do in the future. DOdonnell represents veterinary care by drawing a paw print which belongs to an animal, as well as using a light blue background to symbolize comfort and medical care. DOdonnell states, “I love animals”, and explains how he cares for all animals. This encourages him to become a veterinarian. He does not only care about his own dog, but he loves all animals, big or small. He wants to give all living things to have amazing lives and strives to contribute to the cause in the future.

DOdonnell’s avatar was a great representation of his feelings towards animals and something he is very passionate about. He used colors, shapes, and sizes to symbolize his love for animals, as well as his wish to be a veterinarian in the future. DOdonnell does not JUST explain his future plans, it also has a personal meaning, his childhood dog. This connects to him as a person because of his close relationship and bond with his dog.
