Hide and Seek

When I was ten or eleven years old in 5th grade. I was at my birthday party that was at Fun Z, I was with my friends Isaac who fairly short, PJ the tallest of us all, and Cameron who was unnaturally long they were playing basketball. Then me, Lee who was very violent, Damonte who broke like everything he touched, and my older brother Izaac at the actual jump park part. All of us where around the same age all fairly athletic and spunky so we never ran out of energy. It was an hour in and after all the jumping and running around we all came to an agreement that we wanted to play hide and seek. When we started, we never really set a clear set of rules. We started with a game of rock, paper, scissors to see who was seeker, and I ended up losing.

I was the seeker and I counted to one-hundred because Fun Z is a big enough place that you can’t really get lost in it. Although you can lose other people easily throughout the jungle gym, the actual trampolines, and the foam ball pit. The game started it was all normal I started finding people who hid in bad spots and then kept searching until we got stuck. Isaac said “Where’s Lee?” we just couldn’t find him. Lee was nowhere to be found so finally we just started calling out for him, hoping Lee would respond and realize the games over. I decided to check the bathroom just in case he was there and as I was leaving a heard a muffled chuckling noise coming from above me. Little did I know or was ever expecting too but like a couple of seconds after that Lee falls from the ceiling, taking one of tiles down with him. At that moment I just bursted out in laughter the sight of him falling through the ceiling and the noise when he hit the ground. Lee was laughing to until one of the employees came in. Then me and Lee had to explain how he fell through the roof of a Fun Z trampoline park.

We ended up getting kicked out and had to pay for the ceiling tile. At least me, Lee, and everyone else know joking around and laughing is good and all we just need to set rules and to try not to do anything stupid while in a public space. I think that everyone, no matter how much fun you are having you should respect the rules of the place your at before something bad happens to someone or something ends up breaking.
