A Look at the Passing of James “Jimmy” Owen Sullivan, drummer of Avenged Sevenfold

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the color that represents them is gold. This month is an opportunity for people to recognize children with cancer and show them you support them.

We might just be losing that light at the end of the tunnel.

Time goes by so fast once senior year hits, there is so much stuff to do before we are off on our own.

I remember sitting in class wishing that I could be done with Freshmen year, wishing the time would go by quicker, and then I blinked. I am now on the last stretch of high school with graduation finally in my sights.

Most people have not heard about all the events of track and field so as a member of the Oak Hill team I wanted to clear up what each entails.

I’m not interested in competing with anyone; I hope we all make it.

One of my favorite books is Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver. I have read and re-read this book many times and each time I love it even more.

When millions of people around the country have what is perceived to be the “world” at their fingertips, it is bound to spark issues. People seem to neglect the fact that technology can be dangerous, and while it is a beneficial tool in most cases, it can control your life if you let it.

If you want to fit in, and be like people around you, it’s your choice; but don’t call yourself or walk around like you are different.
